Band of Horses

I know the show was a week ago, but I really have to say how cool of a show it was. The Metro was packed, but we got a decent spot up top. I got there right as they were starting, because I had to work late and go home to take a shower first.

The band looked like total hippies, it was awesome. The frontman was so unpretentious, it was great. He said at one point, "This is the boring part of the set, coming up...if you want to go to the bathroom or get a drink or something. I promise we'll bring it back up soon." Someone yelled something, and he laughed and said "Well, hey. Just warning you. I should know...I do this every day."

The sound was great, I really like their slower songs, anyway. When it was time to do their encore, instead of pretending, he just said "We'll be right back." I was very amused.
